I am 22 years old and I realized that I wanted to be a videographer when I was a senior in college. One of my friends and I had grown a connection with our university’s baseball team and they asked us to partner with them and make a few videos for them. We said yes because we knew that they would give us unlimited freedom. They were going to let us do whatever we wanted to do and let us go wherever we wanted to go. I ended up creating a video about a typical Saturday for them in the Fall. I filmed it and edited it by myself and at that point, I realized that this was something that I loved.
I learned so much while I was in college. The one thing that stands out to me that I have learned is how to tell stories with a camera. The one project that I have done that comes to mind that really showcases this is my mini documentary that I made about a baseball player at Huntington. The player’s name is Langston Ginder and during his freshman year, he was at Ball State University and was on a baseball scholarship. The documentary was about how he gave up a division one scholarship, something that a lot of high school athletes strive for, to follow God. I had the opportunity to make this piece completely by myself. I honestly love watching this video because it literally shows me what I have learned at college since before, I didn’t know how to do or set up any of what was in the video.
Thank you so much for visiting my website. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I hope that you will come back to look to see the big projects that I have worked on.
